Wohoo, I am back! Sketch Challenge!

Wohoo!!  I am finally settled into my new craft room, all set and have been crafting so thought I would start back with sketches.  I had sooooo much fun doing this card and with my passion for camping and fishing, this was perfect for me to start with.  I have entered my Card in the Freshly Made Sketches 253 Challenge.  Here is the sketch and below it is my take on the sketch and creation.  OMG I had soooooo much fun!  Eeeeeee

I coloured the image with copic markers, Spica clear pen and Gelly Roll Medium White.  I used the Balloon Talk  stamp set from Close to My Heart for the Senti; which I stamped with tuxedo black Momento ink.  I used craft card stock for the base and built my card using Beach Bliss 8x8 paper pad from Lili of The Valley, Raspberry Road Design paper by Susan Darter.  The Blue Cloth flower is from KinderstampO and the other flower is from Daisy Doodles.  I added the burlap ribbon and paper ribbon from my stash.  The copic marker colours I used are as follows:

FYR1, YR02, YR07, YR27, RO1, R22, R24, W0, W4, W6, W8, BG07, BG57, BG93, BG96, BG99, FBG2, N4, N6, N8, T3, T7, E31 and E000.

Winter Challenge at SRTC

Hello again, welcome back to SRTC monthly challenges!  It has been six whole months since I started on the DT and I have loved every minute of it but this will be my last post as my term is up.  Thank you so much for following along and I will see you around blogland.

Now on to my post.  To me winer is Christmas, love and Valentines!!!!!  So I have combined the two for my card.  I have used joined hearts, the heart frame and snowflake chipboard from SRTC.  I used a memory box die for the heart flourish and hearts on the left.  I added some burlap ribbon, flowers and gems from my stash.  The image is from magnolia of course and I painted her with Tim Holtz Distress inks.  I used Inka Gold paint on the heart frame and there you have it.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you join in on the challenge to win a chance at some really amazing chipboard.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!  Welcome to 2016 and we have a whole year of crafting ahead of us, giggle!  Part of how I see things anyway, lol.

This month's will be an easy one because we are focusing on Anything Winter!  And if your area is anything like mine, it is a winter wonderland right now.  Sooo beautiful but very cold right now, -24 C.  Burr, anyway here is my creation.

The piece from SRTC is the snowflake and the center of my card.  I added Gold, Inka Gold by Viva to the snowflake and on the clock.  The clock was cut out of a silver sheet from Quick Kutz (old stock I had on hand), which I embossed with a clock folder.  The letters are also from Quick Kutz.  The bow was cut with a Tattered Lace Die and the Snowflake die and I really can not remember where it is from.  I added gems from Close To My Heart.  The image is Destiny Snow Faery from Faery Ink.  I coloured the image with the following copic markers.  W8,W6, W4,W2, W1, W0, N8, N4, N2, R59, R34, R29, R22, R21, BG57, BG49, BG45, B06, B02 R12, RV11, RV13, E000, E00 and E01.  I added Spica-Sky Blue and Baby Blue to the wings.  I added Icicle Stickles by Ranger to the letters for some pop and sparkle!
